This is a brilliant design contest to design a better system for the homeless to carry and transport items suchs as cans and bottles as well as have the unit provide shelter. I am incredibly unqualified to submit an idea but my brain is racing with ideas so I will start putting them on paper and decide if I have something I feel is worth submitting.
As noted on the site, the contest may not only provide a more efficient tool for those most in need but could raise awareness of the problem itself.

extremely cool ... it's nice that someone is thinking a little creatively about the homelessness issue... where would they put the shelter?
It is a cart and a shelter. A portable shelter that serves as a cart during the day.
So the answer is wherever the person was...
