You try to do something nice...

From E:

...Amanda has informed me that Steve is not a pony, but a miniature horse. Damn."

I should've known since he wasn't pink and didn't come with a tiny pink brush.

E should be grateful. Mini horses are SMART. They can help around the house. They can run errands. They can give back massages.
I would take a mini horse over a pony anyday.
Too bad I didn't get either one.

I would be glad if anything, even a mini horse did something around my house. And Amy, since you sent this horse, why did I not receive any compensation for it's upkeep? You know taht you should not give children new animals without asking the adult in charge first. Just you wait and see what I get your kid.

I personally think that Steve is a fine miniature horse. Not that I know he is a miniature horse and NOT, in fact, a pony, we can get some things straightened out. He will now wear sneakers and live in the house (isn't that what miniature horses do?) I will teach him to answer the phone and retrieve the mail and dial 911. I will also take the stupid damn bows out of his mane and tell the petting zoo to leave me alone.
Thank you, Amy, for my miniature horse. He is so much better than a pony.
