You know the ol' sometimes you're the hammer - sometimes you're the nail saying? Well, I was the nail for most of today. My boss, who is a very nice guy and has been very understanding about my day so far, was in my office going over a few changes to a project. Things were going as they usually do until...uh, I kicked him. Hard. In the ankle.
I have a standy uppy desk and a rolling stool for the times I sit down. Well, I was adjusting myself when It Happened. He didn't even flinch. He looked at me while I scrambled to stay on the stool and began the profuse apologizing that follows KICKING YOUR BOSS IN THE ANKLE. HARD.
So the moral is: Even when you are the hammer, sometimes you are still the nail.

at least you have talent for turning a bad day into a funny anecdote for the rest of us. sorry you were on the wrong end of the hammering today.

At least you didn't kick your boss somewhere ELSE very hard...
Thanks ya'll. Starting over again today. I am thinking it would have been even funnier if I could have fit in something about the cure being getting hammered. Or not.
