We returned from a very fun road trip to Jacksonville to celebrate Chris & Valerie's marriage. Kendra, Mary, Michelle and Chrissy made the drive up Saturday and back yesterday. Seemed like we fit a week's worth of fun into the short stay. Safe to say that we wouldn't have survived an actual week's worth of fun the way we were playing. Anyway, huge congratulations to Val & Chris.
Also, something strange happened this morning. I was running through my normal list of feeds and sites and thinking about bicycles (That's my usual morning routine - some people go the coffee route, c'est la vie.) Anyway, I was looking at pictures of Portland. When I remarked to Kendra for the 6,725th time that I want to move to Portland -- so strapping a stuffed animal to my bike and decorating myself and my bike for a ride through town would seem rather normal in comparison -- she replied that i should make that happen here. Good point Kendra! So smart that kid is.
SO, that brings us to the strange thing that happened. Instead of trekking all over the country this morning (or rather, after that trek) I searched for blogs in Tampa. Local blogs. This probably seems nuts as it may have been the place you began your searches. I've had a site for years and I just have kind of stumbled onto sites through various interests without regard for geographic location. [Wow, the brief hiatus made me rambly didn't it?]
