In honor of St. Patrick's Day, thought i'd share a new word -- craic. now, maybe i'm the last person to hear this word, but if that's the case, ShAmE sHaMe on you for not sharing ...
craic - pronounced /crack/ - is a celtic word for a laugh or a good time. what a GrEaT word. there's even a festival, 'the craic fest', the website 'how's the craic', a band called 'craic wisely' and unofficial news from 'the craic'... the fun - the craic - just goes on and on.
