Dad had surgery to remove his kidney yesterday. It went very well (exactly as planned - which is about as good as you can get). He is recovering nicely and will probably be sent home tonight or tomorrow. It's amazing how fast they can get an organ out of you and you out of the hospital isn't it?
His one question for the doctor before he went into surgery? How soon can I drive?
