What a weekend. Kik's sister Angie and best friend Betsy came into town late Friday and although we misses out on Viva la Frida's! we managed in a few things. We met Ruth up at Bilmar because we thought their would be live music but the "talent" was out ill.
Saturday we woke up early and Mandy joined us after her shift at All Children's. She took a nap while Angie, Betsy, Kik and I headed over to St. Pete with the bikes. It seems like something funny happened at this point in the timeline, but I just can't put a finger on it...anyway. We had a great time riding around, looking at galleries and eating at Moon Under Water. Then we headed back to Tampa Town to catch Los Amigos Invisibles. We went to the Green Parrot to catch the end of Kareoke and let Ramer join the Frat Guys With a Dance Routine in some Booty Dance Line Dancing.
Finally, Sunday we met Betsy's brother and sister-in-law at the Green Iguana in Ybor (Angie commented on all the green animals in Tampa). The food there is excellent. From there the girls headed home to FTL and we headed back to St. Pete for the Bomb-itty of Errors show. Unfortunately we had the times off a bit, but luckily we were prepared for a picnic so we hung out in the park for a bit. Then we were off to Suncoast. Man, that place is strange. Best people watching ever.
Overall, I believe a terrific time was had by all.

We NEED to show them the Frat Boys with Dance Routines rowing their "canoe" on the Parrot floor...
I bet Betsy & Angie are REALLY sorry they missed out on Suncoast... Maybe next time, kids. heh.
wow ... i had such an excellent time that i really thought my weekend was complete until i saw that you went to suncoast. perhaps next time we can all just rent a room and stay there the entire weekend. now that would be a real treat.
A special treat it would be.
I think we should definitely stay the night next time... maybe swim in the pool... eat hot dogs served by a man in a thong... OH WAIT! THe girls DID the hot dog part already!
