Fun! I'm bringing Abbey over so that we can train Milo to be nice to dogs that look like rats.
What does Jed think of her!?

Jed thinks that she didn't ASK for a little sister... Right now, I don't think Jed is speaking to me. She will come around eventually. After she cusses me out a few more times.

Congratulations I guess heheh! No that's cool that there is another HUGE dog in the house, with a HUGE tongue and LOTS of slobber. Really I'm happy for you hehehe!
I guess now I know why I wouldn't be that excited by the news.
She is cute though, I'll admit :)

I told Mom about you bringing Abbey over to get aquainted with little Milo. She thinks between the puppy and Jed - Abbey may feel she is being punished.

Now Sara, I know that, next to Abbey, Jed looks like a house goat. But she isn't THAT big. You know, Melodie is probably going to grow up to be a vet, just to spite you. Or, at the very least, she will be begging for a puppy by the time she is four. :)

I think we should all pitch in and buy Melodie a puppy for her 1st birthday. Who is in?!
And Kellogg, your mom is probably rights. Perhaps we can associate hanging with Jed and Milo with her potty episodes in the house. A new form of house training. hahhahaha

I will get her a puppy as small as Abbey if she wants one. And I will train it not to lick me hehe!
Any dog that stands up and is almost as tall as me is a big NO hehe!

Report on day ONE home with dogs: little Milo seems to want to eat, play, sleep, start over........also wants to bite on EVERYthing so trying to put a toy in her mouth at these times. however, whatever toy is in her mouth, Jed feels that she MUST have THAT one NOW! Jed is spending a lot of time pouting. Uh-oh, the little one may be waking.............

How nice to have a stay at home mom.
Note to Tracie: I learned from experience during my unemployment when I stayed home with Jed and Mary's dog Cheetah at the same time, NEVER LEAVE the house while the dogs are together in the same room. The result: 1)trash can emptied and scattered amoungst the house 2)book left on table was torn into about 6,763 small pieces again tossed throughout the house.
Jed's game with other pups is to tug and rip to shreds what ever it is they are tugging.
Good luck Kiddo!

Oh, but my precious little Milo wouldn't dream of being destructive.
And come to think of it, Jed is awfully good...I think Abbey was the mastermind in "Mystery of the Toppled Trash Can" and "The Case of the Destroyed Book."

cheetah had nothing to do w/destroying personal property. she always got in trouble by association. i always knew jed had a naughty streak in her, she just needed a scapegoat. then came cheetah...
i can't wait to meet bowie. i mean milo. ;)
super-cute!
