Ben would have been 27 years old today. I can't possibly get what I would like to say in this post, but I will give a little. I was lucky to have such an intelligent, kind, giving, thoughtful, peaceful, creative brother for the 23 years he was here with us. Since I never second guessed him here, I try not to second guess him on his decision to find a more peaceful existence elsewhere.

Although I never got to know Ben, I do know that his presence in Amy's life meant the world to her. And at times I do feel like I know him, because Amy relives their times together so vividly through her stories...

The memory that just popped into my head is sitting with him and my Sister eating Indian food when we visited him in New York.
There was a live sitar player strumming tunes while we ate dinner. The entire time we were there, Ben bounced with the music.
I can still see him bouncing with a smile on his face. :o)

Amy, It was great, as usual, seeing you and Kendra this evening. I love you and am so glad I got to see you all today. I know that I know where Ben is and I know that I know I will get to see him again. I look forward to it.
