Last night Tracie, Kik and I were talking about Dr. Seuss, specifically the political nature of many of his stories. It sparked a Google search (of course) and I found this documetary that I would love to see.
By the way, as many graduates did, I recieved a copy of Oh the Places You'll Go upon my high school graduation. Though I am willing to bet that my father's inscription "To a unique and unusual daughter - Love, Dad" is not duplicated in any of the other copies.

you know i think i'm one of the few who did not, in fact, receive Oh the Places You'll Go upon graduation. but never fear, just months ago when i left my job at delta, my boss bestowed this classic upon me as a parting gift ... and i really didn't quite know how to take it.
Funny! Dad's and inscriptions, a bad combo!
Hi Robin. Thanks for posting (You are my first "person-I-didn't-know-before-I-started-this-blog-post!") I like your site and I have a couple friends who are Baba/Mama to their daughter too!
PS - Dad means well. : )
